[WIP] Building of Ruins of Mordheim modular table

Thank you. :)

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 69.

The first entry starting the report from the construction of the modular table with the ruins of Mordheim for Warheim FS was published on the blog on October 21, 2021, the post can be found HERE.

In turn, a week ago, i.e. June 01, 2023, by publishing a photo of the last module, I completed the first stage of work on the table.

Of course, during these 20 months, I took breaks from time to time and, as a diversion, I also painted figurines that you can see on the blog on Wednesdays.

It would be difficult for me to focus only on the table and not lose my enthusiasm, anyway I managed to exceed the assumed time for the first stage of work by only 2 months. So that's how long it took me to paint the unfortunate Muszkieterów z Nuln.

As I wrote, I have completed the first stage of work and it's time to move on to the next ones.

Now I will focus on adding details, finishing the interiors and making the moat. Here it is difficult for me to estimate the time needed for this, but you can be sure that I will keep you updated on the progress.

Wow. Seeing it all together like that looks amazing. I love the text in the middle. I'm very much going to enjoy seeing some of the detailing you add to this and can't wait until you get the first layers of paint down on it to really tie all the pieces together. Brilliant bit of board building you've done.

nice ^_^ I've never used it myself but.. shame you couldn't use some fibre optic wire for the candles... could then do a bit of a clear resin drop and get nice light up candles ^_^

really must try working with some optic cables sometime myself..

The statues are great... and the zoomed out view is priceless! You could easily have a 6 players ''royal rumble'' on that setup! ;). Just imagine the dept of the pictures you will be able to get when putting miniatures into context!

Thank you very much. :)

And the second statue with Angel Statue 1 from HQ Resin, which I placed on a column bought on an auction site. Unlike the one presented earlier, this monument is a little less decorative, perhaps because it stands in an alley away from the market square.

looking nice. Can't read that last tomb stone though.. The other three are quite simple.. Death XXX, Death is the ultimate equaliser, I will not die in the crowd (or something like that) but.. can't work out that last one.. Sa red Kelt Vors? don't recognise that at all.

Maybe it will be easier for you to read from the photos on the manufacturer's website.

Ah.. Sacred Kelt Vors. .... nope, doesn't ring a bell.. Looks like the text is deep enough to show up well when painted ^_^ probebly just genetic text to be someone that has died?.. but that's a bit out of norm with the rest, which is latin.. (though we can debate the modern meaning of 'R.I.P' versus the real meaning (It means Requiesce in pace, of course, but these days people think 'Rest in Peace'.. which it does translate to, and because it has the same initals.. ah, gets complex... my Latin is only basic though.. Keen interest more then decent skill.. my school only did French, Spanish or German.. and I had no interest in them and was equally bad at them.)
