I think it's his tail, that it's using as a whip (a realisation I had closer to finishing the paint). I thought it looked a bit like an octopus tentacle at the time. Maybe he's a fan of sushi

^You know, I was halfway through painting one of the Colony 87 miniatures before I realized there was a tentacle in the food tray. Got to love a good tentacle. (Both for dinner and for chaos.)

Some classic HeroQuest.

Went on a mad one with these. Two days to paint all the monsters!
Heros were the last to be painted, bit more leisurely like

I was so tempted to leave them as just a basecoat. And indeed, so tempting to paint another set with just basecoat and blackline. Heavy gloss ftw
