Also a Standard was painted for the Naismith and Morrison Troglodyte Unit. Behind the standard is a pink Naismith Troglodyte carrying the standard. Also another "Giant Frog" was added to the Giant Frog assault force. Though this one is quite small.

And recently, the Ral Partha Legacy Troglodytes by Tom Meier made it through customs. These are going to be used as a unit of 3rd Edition Lizardmen from the Slann Army List and are still being painted. Finally another Blue "Bull Slann" joined the unit, front rank , second from left, with added Diehard Miniatures shield. Also in the front rank is a Talisman Toad, with added Foundry Aztec Standard to use as a Giant Frog, or as here here in the photo as a unit filler or standard bearer. The photo of Troglodytes all together wont upload as file too large, but anyway better to do when the first unit is completed. Thanks for looking!

Your Slann collection is pretty danged enviable there. Lovely, well painted, and endlessly extensive. Also, Mr. Bananahead is kinda scary awesome! Or is that awesome scary? The Horrible Horror of Cavendish Hall. (Just keep the Tropical Race 4 away.)

Thank you Captain Brown, Inchmurin and Symphonicpoet. Indeed Symphonicpoet that is a Frog with Laser gun, a Space Phrogg from Ral Partha Europe, they are quite big but alot of fun to paint and a cheap alternative to hunting original Space Slann, i can imagine they would fit very well in your alien space landscapes. Thanks Inchmurin, the lockdown has caused 3 cancellations of Slann assaults upon the Orcs on the east coast of Scotland, but soon, hopefully the invasions may begin again. Here are a few photos of Troglodte Ral Partha Legacy photos, eventually will be 2 units , an orange scales spear unit and diferent coloured scales handweapon and shield unit. Sorry photo not great but give an impression of the Troglodytes gathering strength and numbers and defending the temple from Scotia Grendel Skeleton Orcs.

Forgot also to post the Kev Adams "Tenoch Mage" on cold one . Alot of fun to paint, and gave him a skull in one hand to add to the shamanic atmosphere. Thanks for looking and no more posts until at last the 2 units of Troglodytes are done and the Khamai Horde is finished.

The Mantic Riverguard are very responsibly .... and reasonably .... priced and have an Aztec feel like our beloved Slann.

Thank you very much Lenihan , Dazza 36 and Twisted Moon! Also thank you BFG and Old Hob (still enjoying alot your Hobgoblin updates!) The Slann are just primed by brush black then drybrushed lightly with white, which helped me alot see the details before i got a lamp here recently, which explains why some of the photos are abit bright. Feathers etc are really simple, just an acrylic paint base coat, then lighter highlights, army painter washes then another lighter highlights when required. BFG , i have the Mantic River Guard here painted alas far too quickly, but i like the figures and think they make good Scouts or Spawn Band from a smaller Slann village. Mantic also have a frog riding a giant frog which i did not get yet. Quite alot of updates now, but i was distracted by Grenadier Future Warriors and a few of the Grenadier Cyberpunk 2020 gang members, as well as Marauder Halflings, and some allies for my Chaos of Orcs and Hobgoblins. But also more Slann...firstly another Gurgill Greenwake, in case of a Slann Civil War scenario and finished the rest of the Ral Partha Legacy Troglodytes with handweapon and shield....more updates to follow

Also i finally painted the Tim Prow Diehard Miniatures Tech Mage, to use as a Slann Human Settler of Lustria Slave trader. Here he can be seen discussing prices with a Tenoch Mage.

and then also painted a Giant Scorpion to add to the Citadel ones, here with a Diehard Animal Handler. Afew more regular Diehard Eru Kin to bolster various units , one with added Aztec Foundry Standard) and also some more of the Tenoch "Khamai Horde" painted...

Here a Magnificent Sven scenario Slann Lieutenant, i like this Slann also as he seems to be the only one with this type of helmet with face guard. Seen here with another Tenoch / Kev Adams Cold One Rider, to complete the unit of 10. Again with added Foundry Aztec Standard.
