Slotta makes more sense.
It's easier for people to base it as normal, if they want to use it in a plastic base, and if not, they can chop the tab off and pin it, which is less hassle than trying to slowly file off a solid base.

I'm tempted towards thin solid based.
They were really horrible!!! Great idea for nostalgia tho.

Yes, It's what I'm going to ask to get a price, smaller would no fot with anything but very old references and bigger would be a bit ridiculous somehow. The JG champions and warriors scale just fine.

No seriously, I'm for a good ol' single piece casting maybe with a boss if the model really needs a shield (don't really think a oldhammer champion would have any use of a shield but hey...)
