Storage horde

Hrrmmm, can anyone help fill the gaps in this set?

Was my first set of minis and some of the smallest are now lost! :(

Well, this is how it’s going. Not in this picture there are 10 Sons of Crom and 15 Dancing Plaguebearers from Satyr Studios.

And the Dark Elf allied contingent plus a Keeper of Secrets (yeah, Slaanesh adjacent allied army).IMG_3888.jpeg

Lovely piles of lead from both sides there! I think other than some (mostly "new") Chaos Dwarves I've now only got a few fantasy chaos things left to paint up. There is certainly a Palanquin of Nurgle to do and I have a couple of Tzeentch horrors and a greater daemon (missing his tail, somehow I thought feathers would be easy to sculpt, not quite so sure now!). At some point I do need to check if I can actually make a small war band, since until now it's just be getting the things I thought were cool! :)

Yep I'm not sure if mine are going to just be "nice models" on the shelf or if I'll actually find a formal place for them. We'll see when/if they ever get painted!

You mentioned those disturbing models and made me remember this model I bought so many years ago (I forgot where, even the game and the miniature range). I used my Google-Fu abilities and figured out this was Vorenus from a discontinued game called Helldorado. The sculptor's name is Jacques-Alexandre Gillois. Not by far Oldhammer, but he'll do a perfect Tzeentch Demon Prince if painted in the correct colours (maybe I'll should tweak the armour so it's more organic as the rest of the Tzeentch models of that era). What do you think?

Looks perfect! Maybe some wings too? Or take chaos to heart and role a RoC mutation chart!

With the feather cape he could count as having wings. I’ve got a couple of plastic vestigial wings from the spawns that I’ve been wanting to use on a herald (remember those legs from a Lord of Change I didn’t buy?).

On a second thought, Do this face look like he already had the pink horror face mutation AND he's rolling a 7-15 "Face of a Lord of Change"?

:geek: But for that, I need to a) sculpt tzeentch organic armour and b) get the previous version of that champion (Pink horror face and sword).

I've a feeling I might have a spare pair of classic greater daemon wings in the bits box. I have a feeling that they are in two parts however. Will have a look at some point if you want, although I don't know quite how well they would work.

Looks nice. I think the face can easily be pink horror face mutation. I do think wings would work better then just leaving the cape but up to you.

Also, looks like the metal got a bit hot when casting? Nothing to worry about but I think it's heat that gives it the slight 'gold' tint.. happened a few times when I'm casting a few things at a time (and I don't have a decent set up with a temperature control thing.. I use a cooker hob.
