Some Old, some Really Old and some new but Old Looking

Got the remainder of my planned force of Quar finished this weekend and ready for my first game of the rules these little guys were made for. (Clash of Rhyfles)
*The solo pics are of a Gaefyn (Basic trooper), is-Caerten (Lieutenant), Miner (Assault Specialist), Marksquar (Sniper) and a Fynrydhad Squad Support Tractor, respectably*





The rules set itself was one of the better skirmish rules I've played to date. Lots of opportunity for interaction throughout the game by both players with fun and intuitive Reaction methods, keeping everyone engaged the whole game though, not just sat waiting for one person to move shoot, etc. And with a basic game needing only a 2'x2' playspace and only 5-10 figures per side, it's a very affordable and easy game to set up and collect for. I'm rather hooked and am now looking into a second faction to collect toward so I can put on demo games for other gaming pals.

Oh, these cuties? Why, they are absolutely bloodthirsty and violent to their cores.

Forgot to post up this little guy. He's a 3D printed Fidwog "Syrnol", a setting specific rank that equates to a Major or Colonel I believe. The original sculpt had him holding a little shortsword in his left hand, but I had another 3D printed arm holding a cuppa that I felt made him look even more like an "officer". Not entirely sure I'm happy with the colours I ended up going with for his spots though.... Kinda looks like maybe he has bad zits or a Shingles outbreak? Still deciding... Also, I still wanted some sort of close combat weapony thing on him so found an old(-ish) plastic IG Catachan knife/canteen bit, hacked off the canteen, then used the sheathed knife and glued it to his belt. (I'm also not sure I'm entirely happy with his hat.... feel there's more I couldve added mayebe?)

Also started work on my 2nd squad of infantry, laying down base colours and built the last three troops I still had on sprue - another Marksquar (sniper), Anti-Tank Torpedo feller and a custom Company Cook (Medic in-game) who got the afore mentioned canteen added to the rear of his pack.

More Quar for my Fidwog project. Another Infantry squad finished with attached Squad Support Tractor, Anti-Tank lancer Quar and an adorable trio of Fidwog Fydo's (A type of Quarish guard dog.).

Just 7 or 8 Fidwog figs left to paint up and perhaps a final purchase for a Fidwog main battle tank (The Shaedyn), then I'm just waiting for Wargames Atlantic to release the new Quar starter set that I'm splitting with a mate so I can start collecting a new faction (Western Aryarans, for those who know.).

***I also need to really get a better set up for my minis pics... So all over the place.
