Some dwarfs (army under construction)

Those are simply beautiful Jaeckel :)
Please share with us your colour/paint choices for achieving such wonderful skin tones.

Thanks. I'm afraid I'm using a lot of disappeared references. The base is a mix of Elf Flesh and Dwarf Flesh. I then use a mix of Dwarf Flesh and Noisette ink for the first shading. Then the two shade tones from the Andrea Flesh Color Paint set (<- you can still find these  ), then Scorched Brown. For highlights, Elf Flesh then Bleached Bone. For the red noses, Tanned Flesh (can be replaced by the Vallejo Game Color equivalent), lavishes of Rackham Color Arcadia Red and final highlights with Elf Flesh and Bleached Bone.
That's it (more or less).

Did you get those 1,000 pts done by the end of the year and if so well I think I can speak on behalf of everyone here, more photos please! If you haven't finished those more photos please. Anything perhaps orcs.Gc

They have real faces!

Your incredible painting skills and attention to detail make these characterful sculpts even better than I thought they were, the nmm and those faces! So much character.

The best dwarfs I have ever seen! Some of the best models I have ever seen!

It's been a while since I have posted anything in this topic. Here is the beginning of a new dwarf unit. Spearmen this time:

10 more warriors and I will have completed my 'mandatory' units...

Gorgeous mate, the NMM, the faces, it's all near perfect, some of the best dwarfs ever, and rally impressive to see them all painted to such a high standard

Exquisite! The gorgeous blending and NMM of their equipment goes almost unnoticed at first glance because of the incredible skin tones you've got which make their faces seem "alive". Bravo!

Can you tell that I love your painting style?

Hi Jaeckel,

I followed your threads on the Warfo', but still can post my congrats here as well.
Top job on this last unit without surprise.

No wonder it takes you 3 months to finish 10 dwarf, with the amount of detail you put in them.
