Some dwarfs (army under construction)

First time I saw your miniatures I thought they were larger than 25mm. I think it's becuase of the amount of detail and the crystal clear pictures you manage to take. What kind of cemara and lens do you use? Very inspirational stuff btw, love your work.

@Dreamfish
A Canon Powershot A720 SI: bought it 5 years ago I think, very easy to use!

@Thantsants
I wonder what you thought the guy was holding :geek:

Dunno - never quite made it out on the examples I've seen - thought perhaps it was the exhaust gases from firing the thing? I must have seen some badly painted examples or not looked at the thing properly.

Stunning!

Thanks a lot for your comments. Here is a small addition to this army: my first war engine!

I just wanted to show this pic again. :grin:

Lovely work and I'm very envious of your NMM. I never stuck with it long enough to master it.

Thank you: here is another model with NMM, even if there are still things to improve (the shadows and the reflections). And I've tried your receipe for the flesh tones of the headless dwarf: not as good as your results I'm afraid, but your colors helped a lot.

Now, back to work and normal dwarfs!

As soon as I saw that first pictures I knew you were going to be from France, I just wish I had the skill and patience to paint like that.
You Sir are my Fav Dwarf painter and that is no doubt

Verrrrrrrry nice. For a moment the painting and basing threw me and I thought they were Rackham models. I haven't long since been awake though. :lol:

Flesh has come out well on the headless guy but I'm especially taken with the armoured dwarf.

Amazing. This is super inspirational stuff especially for a dwarf collector like me, who still is suffering from the after effects of learning his painting skills in the brightly coloured era of the early nineties :)

Hurray! I've finally completed my regiment of dwarf warriors (20 imperial dwarfs + 1 chaos dwarf hidden among them).
