In other news, been playing Space Marine 2 past few days, really unimpressed. Glad I waited for it to go on Xbox game pass and not coughed up cash for it. So I'm downloading Dark Omen instead, god that was a good game back in the day and it has undead, win win.

I have used similar products for decals by Vallejo, mainly for curved shoulder pads. However, water and some matt varnish afterwards does a decent enough job too.

Just need to add shields and Cavs done, then time to finish the Wights and Wraiths. Might push through a unit of plastics and save the juicy minis as a treat for afterwards.

May hunt down more of the LotR Deadman on horse, painting him was the most fun I've had with clothes on in years.

Paints shields, nice and smooth. Add transfers, nice and smooth. Adds a lil paint over the shiny edge of the transfer, paint wants to dry blotchy.
Fuming, nearly got it done with no stress... AHH well, I paint like arse anyway.

At least they are done though. 👍

Bummer. Try gloss varnish > transfer > matt varnish next time. I don't recall ever having to paint in any shiny edges with that approach.

I'll try painting some dings and scratches on them to disguise the dodgy paint, eventually.

Just need to rust up some weapons and add grass to the bases of my Wraiths and Barrow Wights then they are done. Yay.

That is a bummer.
I had to paint over the shiny edges around where I did not cut the decal fine enough. But once painted and then mat varnished they were fine?

After closer inspection it's only 2 shields that are iffy, the rest are ok. I'll live, at least I've finished the unit.

One down, many more to go!

Just cleaned up my painting area and now making a list of priority units to paint first. Maybe my output will increase if I actually have a plan and stick to it.

Seems fair, an arm fell off one of my skellibobs when I was cleaning it, so I just left it off.
Legit and quicker to paint. ?

It's my own fault for picking it up by the lance. I'm so used to Chaos Marines I forgot how delicate skellys are.

Now going to try a lil experiment, how fast can I paint 9 archers. I usually fall asleep about 4am so 4 hours seems doable. 🤣

Tatocam pic of the cavalry. Not perfect but tabletop ready, good enough for me. 👍 Still need to do the banner but I have no idea what I want to do with them, might just cheat and add some tattered strips of cloth so I don't have to paint a whole flag.

Bowmen need bases doing then they are finished and just tidying up the Wraiths after some rust ended up on the robes.

Also got my Ral Partha order ready for payday, getting some armoured skeletons with great weapons.

Got my eye on a rider for my Zombie Dragon as well, fingers crossed and all that.
