mithril miniatures. it seems they're still about but have increased the size of the figures they currently produce.
Not heard of those guys in years, shame they are realising 32mm stuff now. At least it scales well with Primaris Marines and other modern GW minis I'll never buy. (Looking at you Bretonnian foot knights).mithril miniatures. it seems they're still about but have increased the size of the figures they currently produce.
That's an interesting point to be fair. Depending on your style, it can be quite quick (Base, Shade, Highlight) OR can be much harder cause working out the right highlighting for soo much curved bone surface compared to a sheet of plate armour which has less points which catch the light for reflection/refraction (can't remember the correct term right now)The OG plastics are not only classics, but IIRC, being unarmoured they are very quick to paint?
No idea what I'm doing with the shields, not sure what shield style I'm gonna use either.
I'll worry about that later, getting the skellys painted is more important.
Ooo please. I don't fancy freehanding everything, and covering everything in rust seems like an easy way out.I have shield decals for undead if you want them?
I remember them being fast to paint when I was a kid, but I was throwing paint at them and hoping for the best back then. The OG plastics are not only classics, but IIRC, being unarmoured they are very quick to paint?

I know I'm late to the thread but this seems to pretty much sum up my life. As a kid I couldn't afford the shiny stuff (especially the metals). now I have kilogrammes of metal minis just no time and failing eyesight! Was sat there last night looking at everything thinking 'its only took me since 1991, but I now have an Undead army'. Now I just need to paint the damn things.
