All have their first blue highlight now. If I'm honest I went too light (they're more vibrant IRL) but it's fine, I'm not going back now to darken them! Also appeals to my shinier 2nd ed sensibilities....

Fantastic force. That settles it, will paint a small Crimson Fists detachment in 2018 and come here for inspiration.

Well, had a productive Xmas period, all of the blue is done at last, what a long slog it was towards the end. I know the edge highlighting is a bit incongruous for the era but I love the way it looks. Next up, crimson....

Love it!! I like the stronger contrast with the darker blue, you've worked it a treat. Looks really good! We just need need someone to do a WiP Orks force so we can go shoot up some green skins!

Yeah, the contrast actually makes the whole figure look darker if that makes sense....

I have a massive box of Space Orks here too.
