Re: Oldhamer Legacy Crew 2015 ("Arrr!" - Sign Up and Progre
is it really 2mm coper wire ? If it is I just don't understand how you manage to work with it so naturally when I'm struggling with guitar strings... if it's not, I want to know everything about that
Re: Oldhamer Legacy Crew 2015 ("Arrr!" - Sign Up and Progre
It's actually 1.25mm plastic coated wire.....if that makes any difference?
I suppose my "trick" is to use my fingers to bend as much as possible. If I have to use a tool to make sharp bends then I make the bends in stages, not in one go. So I'll bend it a bit, then release the pliers, then bend a bit again, repeat until satisfied.

It's stolen from the same mini I took the flamer from for my LE01 Space Ork conversion late last year. It's a Secrets of the third Reich German para trooper.
Good looking backpacks can be a tricky thing to find I reckon.

Mr Airborne you have my admiration for decapitating an ancient mini and donating it to the project. Good man! Such irreverence is surely in the spirit of Oldhammer!

This is getting more exciting by the day...old school paints (still usable JB?), lizard centaur warriors from space!!
I also met up with The Responsible One at Warhammer World yesterday afternoon, where he very kindly bought me a coffee and gave me a model!
Here's the crew as things stand. As I was setting them out, it struck me that the bosun and his orange-armoured mate are probably vying for the attention of the cabin girl, while the older, more serious members of the crew are doing something more useful
