Same here, I think it's great to have such a variety of models in this group with huge guys in powered armour or ninja zoats and little crippled snots as well.
Excellent job.

The Jotun are a race of aliens possessing a large, strong physique, a hearty appetite for literally any substance they can chew, and the ability to regenerate their bodies when harmed at a very rapid rate. Generally shy and retiring, content to dwell in small family groups, they are seldom seen away from their homeworld, Jotunheimr.

This particular specimen is not like the rest though.

His real name is unpronouncable to a non-Jotun, but he has acquired many names on his travels. His fame and notoriety began not long after leaving Jotunheimr, when he fell in with a crowd of seedy pornographers who recognised the potential of his unique, regenerative abilities...

The legend of Pumbo Jenis, The Cockinator of Cubos IV began.

He made porn noone had ever seen before. He made porn noone ever WANTED to see. His holovids became outlawed across the galaxy after the one involving the cheesegrater and the barbed wire fence hit the etherweb. He became 'Unwanted' in five systems after he continuously escaped imprisonment by flushing parts of himself down the toilet.

His life became one of constant vagrancy, hiring himself out to mercenary bands and hanging out with pirates and vagabonds. The proceeds from his holovids payed for a new prosthetic arm when a lascannon took his off in a vicious firefight (he cannot regenerate burns).

Always ready to make money or cause trouble, Jenis will work with anyone willing to put up with his disgusting behaviour. His current cronies include a power armoured hobo, a one-legged grot and a teenage mutant ninja zoat. Where will their adventures taken them? Time will tell...

And yes, I did flock his balls.

I honestly don't know what to say...Pumbo delights and disgusts me in equal measure. I can't recall having seen genetalia portrayed in quite such an interesting fashion on a figure before (excluding the genetalien that was sculpted for the most recent Frothers competition)! I do however, love the Back to the Future Part II styling he's got going on...that orange and electric blue combo is beautiful :)

Eloquently put.

I love him more than I should admit really. He's like Seinfeld's Kramer mixed with back to the future and Boogie nights in Blade runner. The sci-fi designs are excellent and the conversion is impressive given the model you started from. Wonderful.

Top shelf Captain

I thought I could see some growth down there in the first pic

Just out of curiosity, have you got a pic of the original mini? Pre-porno :)

Pumbo cracks me up. Its brilliant for so many reasons and is exactly the sort of character that I enjoy seeing on the gaming table. When the games start with bizarre concepts like that on the table, entertaining giggles are pretty much a certainty. Plumbo, I salute you (but I dont want to use the bathroom after him).

Great job Captain.

I do, but I'll put it in my blog most likely. Don't want to spoil it now ;) he was a very sad mini though, missing both feet, one arm, his club and a whip...

An interesting mini for sure. I love the sunglasses and the sci fi paint detail. With a fancy pun name and an outrageous backstory to boot. A worthy addition. Though I could have done without the last pic. I would have trusted the assertion that it was flocked!

I arranged a little something special for the winner (in addition to the crew themselves), and have had the marvellous Tony Hough draw up a group of space pirates:

The winner will get this original A4 drawing :)

Phew, been a while since I updated, but after BOYL, a number of new additions were recruited to the crew:

Quite a daring move from your own pirtae Jon to stand in front of Jumbo... :?

Really nice to reach the 10 models milestone though and what a lovely bunch, can't wait to base them all and play them at BOYL2016 (wishful thinking to the max)

That's a good looking group!

Asslessman, your Bryan Ansell space-mullet marine is seriously cool. I think that mini just rings so true to the picture in my head of what Rogue Trader should be.

Axiom, is there a badge yet for the 2015 crew? And thanks for putting Pumbo in the back where we can't see the glorious flock job he's sporting.
