Never read One Piece. Didn't interest me. though I know the Anime version has DCT do a song for it, which is always good.

Those are next, got almost OK resin copies of the shields in the mail two days ago, but priming can’t be done outdoors for now; I preferred a group picture as always than waiting for the shields 🛡️
 
Ok, brace yourselves:

The banner material is called "Microcellular foamed reflector MCPET". It's used to make lamp screens, and the scraps I've got are from a small batch production from my friend's last job. This is it: https://www.furukawa.co.uk/products/mc-pet/

At first glance I thought it was a kind of plasticard, but it wasn't, because plastic glue doesn't work on it.

I've not tried to heat it for shaping it, because I've got my heat gun at work, but I surely will do. The nice thing about this is that you can carve or "engrave" it using pressure (using metal sculpting tools for me). With a round tip tool it makes an awesome brass texture.

With that banner the only thing I did was cut & curve it, but next time I'm trying to sculpt some detail on it.

And after reading those properties on their site, I'm going to use it on my painting lamps (if I can find a big enough sheet, because I only have leftovers).
