Progress report, sadly without photos as I still have no camera handy.
Leg and most torso/arm muscles sculpted, started on the clothing for the musician and the Woldlouse has a rather nifty carapace. On target to be ready for moulding last week of August... provided the Green Stuff holds out!

Wish I could post photos of them, I think they're looking pretty nice. Musculature all but done now, time to move on to the clothes and armour. This part's always a bit sad, covering up those lovely muscles that have taken ages, still the under layer has to be right for the clothing to hang properly!

Greens nearly done. Heads and tails interchangeable (but designed for certain figures)
Warriors (with new tails, didn't like the previous ones)
Slave
Champion
Standard bearer
Piper (hands and chanter still to do)
Hero character
Wizard character
Will come with three blind marsh crows
Woldlouse with separate claws for optimum posing
And a pair of WIP swords, to be available separately (weapons not included with figures) but designed for the Hero and Champion respectively (I'm planning a whole unit of warriors with 'em though to supplant my existing Fianna Fimm).

Man I have little interest in these "marsh Monsters" in general...but yours look fantastic! between you and Mr. Saturday I may be convinced to get some myself....

Beautiful stuff, but shouldn't they be hollow so they can fall to pieces harmlessly when their binder dies, allowing Podlings to make strange sounding little drums and lutes out of them?

Maybe I should do a podling playing on lumps of garthim as a bonus figure!

Spoke to the mouldmakers today, a few necessary adjustments to the figures to make (the Mystic needs his right arms detaching... bring on the dremel!) and we're good to go!

Greens are going to the foundry next week. I've added a 10th figure too (room in mould allowing) which will be a freebie for everyone who gets in the first batch of orders, and thereafter will be available for order as a separate figure. What is it you ask? Well now, that would be telling....

We won't know the per-figure price until the master casts have been taken and weighed. The mould is costing £50 for the 10 figures so not that expensive, then it's a question of working out what the cost of the metal in each figure is. Still hoping to divide as follows:
Vassal and 2 warriors: £5
Command group (3): £5
Wizard with 3 crows: £3
Hero: £3
Pair of Haakskarl swords: £3
Woldlouse: £5
These prices are purely what I'm hoping to charge, they're based on optimism rather than any real calculations. The Woldlouse particularly is a hefty model even in putty.
And the 10th model is.... no, no I'm not going to. But here's a clue... there are some in my army.

Took the greens to the Foundry yesterday... it was amazing! Honestly, try telling me ever again you can't get super-fine detail in metal casts! Their work is superb. The upshot is I'm going to need two moulds, so that will bump the prices up a bit sadly, but hopefully not too much. The moulds will be made in the next couple of weeks and they'll take the metal masters and let me know the cost of the metal for each spin of the mould. Then I'll be able to give accurate costings and start taking orders.
