Lovely work on display here. Where did you find the broken tomb from?
I wish I knew the original manufacturer, but it was in my Dad's collection when I inherited it, and I think he inherited it from another of his gaming mates. It's very light resin is all I can say.

I've been continuing with my Fimir warband/ Myeri gathering for Oakbound Games' The Woods.
A couple of Krakon Games miniatures sculpted by Ross Whitehorn

Along with a very heavily converted Dirach-type, using fomorian parts from Krakon Games, the body from a Pulp figures cultist, and the staff/scythe from a Sylvaneth Branchwych. His familiar is a raven from Reaper

and the final thing I painted for the warband was the classic Jes Goodwin fimir prototype:

You can see the whole assembled warband over at the blog: http://wheretheseapoursout.blogspot.com/2021/06/from-marshes-into-woods-myerifimir.html

Looking good Richard, will we be seeing them at BOYL.
Aye I think so... see if Geoff gets some games of the woods going, or I might use them in any warband games going (let me know if you hear of any!). They're the most complete project I have from this lockdown year, need to get a move on and finish some others

Not been keeping things up to date here as things have been a bit.... urgh. But I have got a lot painted. Here are 16 Melnibonean archers for your perusal. A new addition for my High Elf army.

The hedgehog Berserker was great to see. There can't be many about.
Great fun and got a recent outing in a battle of woodland creatures and their allies against the forces of Ye Olde High Speed II

In fact, it's still purchasable from Magister Militum if anyone else fancies one: https://www.magistermilitum.com/bst10-h ... gehog.html

I like those Inspired by WD painting challenges, Why did we never think of doing something like that here?
Yes, it was great fun. Unfortunately it's run out of steam now over on facebook - the instigator is too busy with the success of his company OS minis (which is good news of course, but a bit of a shame in terms of the challenge). Maybe worth a revival in the future here?

HOW many Melniboneans?!
Been collecting them a long time! I'd rather like to round it up to 20 but the ebay supply seems to have dried up.

I really nice choice of colours too! Are they the colours for a whole army of High Elves?
Now there's a question. Next up for the High Elves are some middlehammer White Lions and while they'll have some of that red, I'm trying to work out where and how much.
