^Oh, that looks especially lovely. The blue and white tabards are great and the beige gambeson looks very nice too. Great stuff!

Thanks :) I've been slowly plugging away since the first lockdown....often getting distracted with other things but really happy with the progress

Just need to paint more more mounted minis...and block of Nuln Pikemen

^That's a fun little mix of miniatures there! Is the fellow all the way on the right some kind of epic pocket titan? (Imperial knight? Is that what they call them? I think they postdate my official game departure and I never really played epic all that much anyway.) Whatever it is, it makes a fine addition to a chaotic band. Kind of has a nice terminatorish look to it.

Indeed its an Imperial Knight, while searching through a box I found it and the first thing I noticed was ‘where is the ammo kept for that gun!’, maybe it’s like the Epic Squat super heavies which have TARDIS like magazines? Either that or it’s a laser weapon but l think it’s probably something along the line an autocannon. Anyhow I’ve decided to use it as a human sized robot for my Slaanesh cultists, if nothing else to utilize the joyous robot rules from the 40K Compendium

Gnome giants! Yet to use them in a game but look forward to it being clobbering time

^I had no idea gnomes played baseball. (Or giants, but you're right, that's definitely how she's holding the lumber. Maybe the fellow is walking over the to the on deck circle. Or maybe he's the bat boy. Bat giant?

I do really love these two. They're pretty special. Not only are they well painted, but they're quite unlike most of the miniatures I've seen before. Neat line! I love the simple whimsy of them. (Mixed with a tiny bit of casual brutality. Just another day at the park smashing things over the fences.)

This is the E209 Imperial Walker, or a scratch built walker I made one day when I got a job lot of 40k Mini's and thought what can I do with 1/2 a dreadnaught!

Rules can be found on my blog.

^You know, I like that. I have the Space Wolf version gathering dust in a carrying case because I rather soured on it many years ago, but maybe I could hack it apart and make it into something along those lines. Would make a lot more sense on an Oldhammer table that way. I love it! That's also got to be the best way I've seen to sacrifice a flying couch, though the poor trooper still seems a tad exposed. ;)

The trooper is no more exposed than the pilot of an Eldar War Walker

These were all bits I got in a massive job lot that included a complete IG landspeeder plus bits of a second one so don't feel anything has been sacrificed. Its a lovely addition to Project Anwyn, an ongoing creation of a 40K world inspired by reading the 40K Cpmpendium while supporting my wife as she birthed our daughter Anwyn

^Doesn't the pilot of an Eldar War Walker have magic screens that act like invisible armor? Which . . . yeah, that's kind of silly too. I've honestly always had mixed feelings about walkers in general, but you do what looks cool. And what you have done looks cool! :)

First, the nurgling is alarmingly cute. Looks a bit like a pug. Second, the story is lovely. Well done! That's a great follow on to the glorious walker madness. I feel certain there's a film reference in here that I'm missing, which makes it all the better.

Dang that Nurgling, now I need to put a bolt gun on one of mine. Very cool and very oldhammer.

Its probably a wrestling not film...there are a lot of 1990's WWE references in my 40k world

Tbh I found that nurgling in my lead pile with it weapon broken...so I thought 'how about replacing it with a bolter?'
