Imperial Orks

Everything is ace except for that silly Donald Duck ass! :) But I can't really blame you for that. I like it a lot!

Hehehe yeah, "you can't choose your family" in that regard. The duck butt comes from the position of the hips on the standard ork legs. Generally the lesser orks were posed with the hips at a steep angle of attack to the ground. If you look at the contemporary nobz that were done in metal you can see that the hips are more horizontal for those guys. The steep angle of attack works for the original kit as it makes the orks look like they are rushing forward - the center of gravity is roughly over the leading foot. I will eventually get around to designing some more neutrally posed legs for these chaps - Kromlech make lots of legs in interesting poses for example.

I would like to make a 1 piece version which is more in line with the traditional Kev Adams stuff (mostly just for you Phreedh ;) ) - will have to wait till I make the gun first.

Look great. I agree that the legs are not the best choice for this kind of pose but hey: They are Orks!!!!

With the sunglasses put on he really looks like some Ice-Cold dude....I like him

He looks great. I would suggest that the "American Football look" comes form the shoulder pads. The middle torso of the three is much less like this. If you wanted to move away from that look then I think that is the way to go - ditch the shoulder pads or reduce them down considerably.

I think that is indeed the way to go with them, thanks.
