Fun was indeed had! Personally, though, I thought turn 3, when the XV-25 stealth team came out of hiding, was the highlight...
"Suddenly, from the cover of a nearby fudge container, three suits resolved their from. Looking up, Grotsnob the gretchin could clearly see the cannons spooling up as he let fly with a noxious cloud of nervous dread. He ran the math through his head "free of dem, loads of us - we's done for lads!"
2 Burst Cannon and a Fusion gun vs 20 gretchin - The wash of light and heat as the three weapons discharged in drilled unison occluded sight momentarily... Only to fade and leave 3 very nervous Tau and a horde of totally dumbfounded gretchin...

Oh, gee I'm glad I bought those Tau....

Its been a busy month!

I have about 10 metal boyz/skarboyz, 6 plastic goffs and a power armour nob + a few little touch ups to go and Ill have my first fully painted army: 2000pts of Goffs.

I'm sorry but Goff Warband is never complete without 50 Skarboys, 20 Nobs and bad eyeight caused by painting checks lol And once again no Battlewagon lol All joking aside they look great.

100% with Chico on this one, you still need a fair load of stormboys and Khorne Storm boys, you have to raise the humidity level in your room with an even temperature for them to reproduce correctly !
Joke aside Very good army so far with a wide range of models bound by a solid paintjob.

My stress level shoots through the roof at the mere mention of checks

Ive never cared for jump troops really but a nice spiky battlewagon in place of that cardboard box would tie everything together nicely

Mr Asslessman painted and sent me some Goffs as a reward for swelling the ranks of his Chaos Warbands.

Since I had everything out to take some pics of my work in 2013, it was a good time for Ghazgkhull's boyz to have a photo opportunity with their French brethren

Thisis wonderful to see they gained a home in the process. One thing surprises me though, how come the french ones have a darker skintone when the australians have so much more sun? I can picture the black orks going to battle singing James Brown "I blac and i'm proud !"

I'm inclined to believe the more sun a Space Ork gets, the lighter his skin becomes

I doubt they will have acceptance issues, they have some pretty big muscles and look to pack a punch (maybe they are dark cause of spinach?)

Yep, you must be right, I remember reading in "Waagh the orks" ork skin and blood vary in colour with what they eat...

It's also very nice to see the same models painted by different painters next to each other.

Good one Bruno, The ornage and yellow highlights work very great, especially on the gun. You really nailed this one fine. The cross composition on the body is very nice. I'd really want to see a squad of them.

Your painting just keeps on getting better. Neat skin tone and solid looking checks. I love the old powered armoured nobs especially this bloke with the digilaser and custom gunn.

I used to have all of them back in the day but sadly sold my old Rogue Trader models off for a pittance. This model always served as my warlord.
