Dwarf Army - for BOYL, TOW and beyond - progress reports

I like the later metal versions too. Have limited my collection to metal models tho. 😅

They are all on the painting schedule to play at BOYL, am hoping that as they are mainly armour they should be fairly quick to paint! 🤔

Who keeps ordering all of these models?!? 😋 (£25 for the lot was too good to miss!)

Yeah, I know I dismissed the Master Engineer sculpt as a bit fussy earlier in the thread, but the design has grown on me over time…
Have a spare pilot body for this version of the gyro, but might use parts of the others to distinguish them from each other?
I already have a Grung Runepriest sculpt, so if anyone else would like it hit me up (otherwise he will get converted).

Should add that I find it is quite liberating to convert damaged metal models. There is not the self-imposed pressure of “preserving” an OOP model and I get the fun of personalising the model which is an aspect of the hobby I really enjoy.
I enjoy this, too. I found a small lot of 3rd Edition Bretonnian mounted men-at-arms, missing the weapon arms and with heads sawn off, presumably conversions-in-progress. They are going to become standard bearer and musician. I do feel free to just work them, I'm not ruining a treasure.

Primed up the baggage train and a few other minis that were waiting their turn. Also went over a few others in Bone White after the old Army Painter white left them badly speckled…View attachment 18986
I adore them, especially the Bugman's cart. I try to get baggage trains, artillery limbers, Dragoon horse-holders, and the like for my forces. I think such things bring a lot to the table.
