Dwarf Army - for BOYL, TOW and beyond - progress reports

Managed to finish off the basing and matt varnished all these models on Thursday midnight before driving down to Nottingham for the Bootleg BOYL events.

I really should finish off this display mound too at some point soon… 🫣

He was intended for another baggage diorama base, but had him separate for painting and in this crew. When I get a minute will put him on the intended base! 😉
 
That plastic dwarf (gifted by @ManicMan) in the front rank is a little tubby barrel of a mini! Especially compared to the slightly daintier Midlam sculpts at the back. Still, good to have different body types on display.

Plan to have more browns in this unit, they are members of the clan called up to fight rather than dedicated warriors with uniforms. Will have some blue accents to tie into the army though.
 
So much still unpainted… was trying to add up how many units (excluding all the war machines & characters) are still to do and there are at least 8… 😅
