Deadcember 2025

technically, I think the painting is done.. unless little thing I want to add to the base like a Rat, but I don't think I have a rat of a type I want to put on the base.

Im going to use a ruined wooden medieval catapult for my screaming skull lobber. I'm headcannoning it as a dead treeman, so technically it still counts as corpse bits.
That's always something which makes me wonder alot... apart from the odd Bone wheels and stuff, if you go for old rotten wood and rusty weapons... they would be pretty damn weak really. I always think when I see skeletons with rusty swords that they are gonna swing once and then snap the blades.. of course it depends on how deep the rust is but still..

Dead Treeman bits sounds good but again.. how strong is this kinda catapult to still be find with rotting wood?... of course, it's all fantasy so doesn't really matter but... it's just something that makes me wonder.

The Plague cart looks great (as does the 'Eavy Metal esq photo layout!). And much as I love the old citadel one I do prefer a cart to have proper wheels rather than over the top ones made of bones!

Just about made it! A wight-ish character from the best fantasy range ever produced. :) Celtos!

Cool beans. I bought a load of these to do some Slaine type wargames, it stalled until Slaine from Warlord Games came out, then it super stalled as the game put me off doing it.

Great models though as you rightly say.

Well better late than never right! Although I was tempted to keep him and use him this year given my current painting speed ... anyhow finally finished and glued him to a base last night.

A model I've always liked and managed to get at some point last year. The tab was rather loose and ended up falling off during painting so I pinned the right leg. Given he's not really going to go into my Undead units I thought I'd pop him on a random bit of dungeon-esk base (actually a base topper I think) I have a few of and repose him a little to be more up-right.

I think anything within 6 months of the date is fine. Any longer and, yeah, you should probably start a thread for the following year!

Great job and I've always loved that figure. It looks as though you've even changed the arm angle so he would rank up in the unit you're never going to put him in too! And with a legit marauder shield - I'm beginning to think those are rarer then the figures themselves....
