Darkblade's Quest

That's an amazing mass of classic & Marauder dorfs! I particularly like the Slayers, but everything is top notch.

They are built using the 'Ruins of Osgiliath' terrain by GW.

I'm not sure if this lot qualify as 'Old' but seeing as there are a few greenskin lovers on here I thought I'd share. Hope you like them.

First up some Stone Trolls. I was inspired after a commission job I did and really enjoyed painting them so I had to have my own.





This was a project I did for a unit painting challenge on Bugman's Brewery a while ago which incorporated the Night Goblin Command from Forgeworld. I really enjoyed painting the standard and also messing about with some rust recipes.









I did start some squigs and a forgeworld squig gobba but both have been pushed done the painting ladder for a while, I'll get back to them some day.

What a great looking regiment. I like the "Filler-hill" with the leaders on it, fits in very nice.

I think i´ll give a try to what you did on their hoods :grin:
 
These are really cool. Such a good paintjob. Gives me some inspiration to work on my own dwarfs. The skull pass (that's what they are right?) night goblins are impressive as well. Such a good job on everything :shock:

I have come across this army on several google searches too. Great inspiration!

I think this is one of the most awesome (if not THE most) Dwarf Armies ever!

Wow, the army shot is amazing! I do however find your lack of first edition Bugman's regiment disturbing. =)
