Current Sales going on

If anyone buys some of their minis, please post pics so we can get a better idea! :)
So I bought a few bits because I wanted some bits and prefer the expo range over the stuff in my FLGS. I decided to get just one mini - Colin, Wheal-Barrow Wraith. With half a mind that it might be a Nagash type model for my Undead or something with the Nighthaunts. Anyhow I was never going to pay £25 quid for it and £10 seemed better to dip my toe in. It's a larger mini, but by no means crazy. A snap for an idea of scale. Now how their general models scale - well that's still anyone's guess!

Got my parcel today.

I would say, Mierce Miniatures' miniatures are a tad larger than old GW miniatures:

Well... they are quite larger...

No, that wasn't the word... dwarf! Mierce Miniatures' miniatures dwarf old GW minis.

Yes... that seems about right.

Quality is good.

Now I understand a bit better the high prices of these minis. But still... I don't think I would buy them at their regular prices. I got three more, but don't have equivalent GW minis to show them off against.
My order confirmation says "You saved €306,42" - I wouldn't have spent these...

the whole euro comma thing always confuses the hell out of me.. more so when I see companies try to convert it to GBP still with the comma..

Guess it doesn't matter to someone in Germany ^_^ it's just I read that price as 30642 which.. yikes.. how much did you spend to save that much ^_^;

Heads up that Mierce is one of those companies (like GSW) that gets a lot of shit thrown at it. In Mierce's case, it's down to the owner and his association with Maelstrom Games which went tits up owing people money some years ago. I know many people who won't buy from any company he's involved in on principle.

thus why it always confuses me ^_^ I have to pause for a few moments to process it.. wonder if it's related to my dyslexia.. hard to say as my Reading was always far better then spelling and writing.
Nah, confused me as well. Always about context. When I read 30,642 and think it is German context,, I read it differently than when I think it is Anglican context.
And don't start with dates.
what is 12/11/2025...? Might be 12th November or 11th December... depending on context...

I prefer the japanese way of using the western calender. cause it just makes WAY more sense
Year/Month/Day
it indexs and sorts soo much easier
other wise has to be Day/Month/Year cause that also makes sense.. going month before the day with the year last just doesn't make logical sense in anyway

Ah, couldn't use that. try putting a / in a filename ;)

I love ISO 8601: yyyy-mm-dd - quite a lot of my filenames start like that - mainly for sorting reasons.

^_^ yep, Japanese western date format is just soo easy for indexing

of course, Japanese style date is... tricky... the year starts with the when the emperor ascended to the Chrysanthemum Throne. So it's currently.. Reiwa (the period name of the current Emperor) 7 as its been 7 years since he became emperor (1st May 2019).. but the western style is used alot more in standard things these days.
