Classic Warhammer Armies Poses

When you guys are doing this, could you include whatever disparaging comments the person taking the picture is offering as well? I would imagine exasperated wives/partners are struggling to understand the reason for the stupid pose and those being pictured must surely have weathered a whole storm of abuse just to get the shot...

The reason why I haven't done it yet is that I still don't know how to explain to the missus why I want her to take a photo of me in front of my "littel men" with a mullet wig on... :?
(now where's the automatic shot button on this samsung smartathingee?...)

Oh Yes! This.... My wife has become very accommodating over the years. She did give me a quizzical look though when I asked her to take a picture in front of my army. Then I showed her the inspiration itself, and she scoffed at the great Bryan Ansell . In the end though she really got into it, and took about 20 pics. So she is pretty sporting when it comes to my little soldiers, and she really tries to show interest when I am talking about a new army, or getting a great deal on Ebay!

Hide the kids, hide the wife, here comes...

You can leave your hat on! Well, at least I can:

Now, Gentlemen, I'll see your beards and I raise you... one mullet!

Hahaha....nice Ti!! Those are all spectacular! But for sheer cheese factor I have to say the first is my favorite.

...of course it's also good to know ther is at least one other person on the forum that appreciates good music...;)

Cheers,

Blue

Rumours? So my fame has preceeded me... again!
Well, come all, pretty women / with your hair a-hanging down / open up your windows / 'cause Ti Pouchon's in town!

Thanks for the great idea! This was a fun evening of photographic mirth and hilarity.
Btw, the missus made me do the mullet pic. She even did my hair.
I showed her the Ansell original and her disapproval filled the room in a way that was tangible. Then I told her that Mr. Ansell used to be the CEO of the 'little men company' and these days instead of a mullet sports an Indian war bonnet made of 1000$ bills. She lightened up considerably and we simply had a blast taking the pics. This really is fun for the whole family!
Also: Forever Grateful. Forever Dead.

The first one is definitely going to be a classic ! With the combed hair + shades + double thumbs up, I see a player 100% confident he's going to have some good time. I like it!

Lacking a decent sized painted fantasy army, I took Chico's suggestion to lay out some of my Blood Bowl teams. I elected to go for a classic Jervis Johnson pose (he did write Blood Bowl after all), from the mid-1990s:

Excellent Jervis pose Jon ! At least you chose the version without the long hair and shades ;). You should send him the pic, I'm sure he will be happy to have some lighter news...

You don't really look like you're enjoying yourself there Jon... :)
Nah, it's just a pokerface, he's smiling to the ears in his mind, thinking about crushing his opponents into the grass (or stone depending on the field...)

I dunno, I think he's nursing a hangover... ;)

Yeah - I failed to truly replicate the sardonic slanted smile that Jervis is pulling off so well. Given that I was self photographing with the timer, and this was the 6 attempt, I was getting rather fed up ;)

You are now duty bound to post the other 5 attempts ;)
