I'm still struggling to work out how the hair in the 1st pic is the same hair as in the 3rd pic...

The missus helped with that. She can do wonders if she puts her mind to it.
The neat and orderly combed look is what I sport in public. And I am not ashamed.

i'm interested in joining in with this (in fact it's the reason i finally joined the forum). can you tell me how to post photo's, please, and i'll show you what i've got in mind.

You can either upload a photo to a hosting website (e.g photobucket) and embed it in the text of your post by inserting an image (img button at the top), or you can upload directly as an attachment (at the bottom of the post editor).

Either way you'll probably need to shrink the photo so its a reasonable size.
