How many points you building up to?

No points planned as yet, although I would like to be painting 1000 points for the Old World Army Challenge next year.
At the moment I'm just plugging through what feels cool
I might switch to fantasy chaos models - particularly centaurs, but we'll see how the motivations holds up.

Its more the 'more then I need' comment that made me wonder.

Chaos are kinda timeless and, atleast at one stage, many WFB ones could be used for W40K and visa versa. And I've seen 40K centaurs ^_^

Ooo - 40k centaurs! I am tempted to chop and add guns to mine, but I have found them super rare to come by, so I'll probably keep them as is. Mind you, I might chop the tab off and paint them with this type of base so all the chaos fits together as a timeless warpfilled whole...

Centaurs can be fairly easy to make.. Get a horse. Remove the head. Get a person. Remove the Legs.. blend it in a bit

Ahhh, yeah. Converting is a Thing for other people. I've converted one model once, and it was harrowing . Can't imagine the toll a whole unit would reap!

Thought about that as well. What are you using for the carrions? Got some originals? I am currently thinking about using these: Mirliton Condors .

knightmare have some very nice ones but 'coming soon' so it's a waiting game..

I've got a selection of the originals (I did have some of the later smaller ones, but my brother must still have those), but only one rider so have been half looking out for some suitable replacements. Those condors look like they could work.

Another hound.
And a movement tray. Obvious drybrush, but it looks good at distance. I wonder whether to change some of the red pus holes to yellow and some to green or just keep it simple.
