Thanks for comments, guys.

@Blue in VT :
For the horse, it's not a personnal idea, so feel free to use ! :mrgreen:
I've seen such conversions ages ago, and as I found an incomplete green knight in the bitzbox...

@Niibl :
I prefer a slightly darker tone too. And as I'm painting on black undercoat, I find it easier to do.

@Urion :
Thanks. I like this kind of basing for my Brets (and I use the same for my SAGA historical armies) as I think it fit well with the Lady's knights...

For today, here are 3 more skaven warriors joining my future army for Lion / Dragon Rampant or SAGA.

Wow, what a thread! fantastic work throughout, I've spent a good chunk of time after work looking through this and it's been a real pleasure. One question, how do you paint/glaze that stubble affect on the human faces, it looks excellent?

Keep on inspiring us!

For the beard, I use very diluted dark grey, in thin layers, until I'm satisfied with it.
Same for the red, but with a dark red.

As always with glaze, it's simple, but it can be long as you need to wait until it's dry before to start the next layer (if needed).

For today, not too old stuff, but old enough to be a metal mini ! ^^

Here is a high elf hero to lead my army on the battlefield :

Then the first unit of my Lothern sea guard (I have another one to paint) :

And my son's skaven army for Dragon Rampants as it stands before Christmas (more to come soon, as I've painted some giant rats and plague monks) :

As always, C&C welcome, and more pics on the blog !
