Great stuff Harry, Niibl and Cheetor, puits minbe to shame. Anyway here Is Bilorko's motor pool jeep ready to be driven to an unearnt win in death race. I haven't had time to paint the crew yet but wanted to get the truck done for the 20th.

I'm waiting to see the startline of this race, this is waht happens when child games are played by grown men.

I say we should choose Pole position by seeing who can get closest to the starting line under their own power. More seriously how are you going to sort out the starting line CC?

I haven't quite finished mine, will try to this evening and then take some photos. The vehicles on display here look amazing, can't wait to be a part of this!

This race just seems like it is made of pure win and I will definately replicate this in Berlin in my apartment this coming fall ;)

The photos are to be used to make 'initiative' cards. At the start they are shuffled and then drawn one at a time - the order determimes pole position and they basically line up as they are drawn.

Each turn the cards are shuffled and that determines who goes when. The randomness is part of the fun and means that even someone at the very back of the pack can jump right back in with a bit of luck and a lot of carnage... :grin:

Guys I just want to remind everyone that while having foot versions of your vehicle crew isnt essential, you will be missing out on a big chunk of fun if you dont bring some as the pedestrian rules have worked out to be hilarious fun.

All you need is two foot models, one for the driver and one for your support guy. Two figs, for a big investment in fun!

You still have 2 weeks more or less so get crack-a-lackin' ;)

There are some really nice vehicles appearing around these parts, great work drivers!

Harry, that Games Day racing driver ork is sweet. Im looking forward to having a look at him, no better opportunity to get some use out of that model.

This is what I need the photos for folks - personalised initiative cards that you can take home as a souvenir, along with the vehicular traumas you suffer...

This is NOT the finished product so dont panic if the names are all wrong etc. Just let me know your team/vehicle name in the next 12 hours or so.

I'm still waiting on James Holloway and Bane's pics - guys, Crookie NEEDS them pronto! I fly out in 3.5 days, and these must get printed and laminated before i go!

ALSO if you have build a car for this game but your name is not on the following list that means i've somehow overlooked you, please let me know. I thought I counted 12 but i've got 11 so... let me know ASAP! This is not an open invite unfortunately, just trying to cover all bases. Cheers!

After much angst with trying to get a chrome effect (bare moral foil, nmm both tried and failed - for now I should add) I ended up just using metallic paints so I could try and kinda meet the deadline. But the painted metal makes the multiple layered, buffed and polished red surface look unpainted, in the traditional sense, if you see what I mean. Still some work to do then, but for now I present the Freeway Fighter:

THere are not expletives enough to covey how awesome these builds re. I am so looking forward to the race!

I love the sheet of vehicles (Ramshackle Raider?!;) ) and the red models above is SO amazing!

Cheers fimm, I've just ordered some so I may have the chance to make this the model I want it to be before boyl. It's going to look even shinier next to all the amazingly weathered vehicles in the line up!

On names my entry may well be Blorko's jeep but he would prefer it to be called the, "Blorko's Bullet" though the Boyz call it, "The Mota pool Speshal". I did think about calling it, "Arrivederci" but I thought it woudl be too obscure:

@ Bane, for chrome parts, I think you can achieve a pretty good result with a white undercoat and mithril on top, it's what I was tought when I was making airplane models as a kid. Maybe just a good layer of gloss will do the trick on the red, I think that's what Jon did for his orange Brattmobile
