I will, from here on in, refer to it as an 'Evil Spaceman Thingy' to trigger the 40k 3rd edition nerds.Works well on this eBay rescue! 👍
"Beast - from the latin 'Bestia' meaning Wild Animal. English version originally used as a translation of the latin 'Animale'."Gotta love the Jesmen though that one always felt the odd man out being more mutant than beast.
I've seen people who look like that in Newark late at night. Got something against primitive humans?Any besides, two of them heads are clearly not human.
'022004' (or 'Gregor-Kurt the Twin' according to Combat Cards), armed with club and sock puppet, from Jes Goodwin's Realm of Chaos beastmen range (1988).View attachment 17920
I agree with your point, but that's also why he appealed to me. The difference between mutants and beastmen in the old fluff was vague at best, so I'm more than happy to conflate the two. Chaos innit.Gotta love the Jesmen though that one always felt the odd man out being more mutant than beast.
AoS is 11 years old now and Primaris marines will be 10 years old next year!! 😵💫 Feeling ancient yet?!?Nice. Middlehammer is Oldhammer for many of the whelps.
Due to various boring adult expenditure reasons I only backed the 'buy four' option and a pack of the not-Broo shields (I have about 6-months worth of beastmen still to paint, so it was all I could justify). That said, if I was after chaos goblins I'd be over the moon with HMH's latest Kickstarter.Liked the variety of beastmen in their recent rank & file Kickstarter and ummed & ahhed about backing it. Did you swing for it?
Worryingly, I keep seeing grey bearded men on YouTube and the like reminisce about getting into 'the Hobby' with the 5ed boxset way back in 1996! I'm pretty sure that was only the other day. This also probably explains why my eyes/knees no longer function.AoS is 11 years old now and Primaris marines will be 10 years old next year!! 😵💫 Feeling ancient yet?!?
Nah, no worry, that just means they waited way too long. I'm sure many of us didn't wait till anywhere near that '14' age mark to a point where we had to have someone to buy our little bits of metal for us due to the age limits ^_^Worryingly, I keep seeing grey bearded men on YouTube and the like reminisce about getting into 'the Hobby' with the 5ed boxset way back in 1996! Noooooooooooo. Damn it, when did that happen!? I can't believe the scale jump (that was a jump, not creep) is now ten years old. Wow, scary stuff indeed.AoS is 11 years old now and Primaris marines will be 10 years old next year!! 😵💫 Feeling ancient yet?!?
Ah, I still remember sending off postal orders to the Mail Order Trolls for my toy soldiers... And casting my own Prince August goblins, melting the metal over my mum's cooker while wearing polyester jimjams...Nah, no worry, that just means they waited way too long. There were no age limits.. no-one batted an eye at 9 year old me buying leadNah, no worry, that just means they waited way too long. I know it's stretching the definition of 'Oldhammer' ... maybe scaled more towards the Middlehammer beastmen range.
