Legacy Crew 2025 - Market Day
Verena Jaeger.

I spent far too long on her and I kind of want to keep it, but still.
What sort of oathbreaker would that make me...

Could not get a decent image though. Better in Real Life.
(image does not show the eye shadow, the wear on the bottom of the tankards from when they are placed down etc.)

What? not a glass bottom tankard? (oh and by the way, why do people keep saying that rubbish myth about 'Oh, the glass bottom was to stop the navy press gangs' cause.. they didn't give a damn. If they wanted you, they would force you anyway

Exactly.
I suspect the rumour was started by a dude with a million spare glass discs to try and shift.
I think I've also seen it as a way to overcharge for old tankards.. claim this mythical back story to make them seam like rare important things and part of history to such a degree you WANT to pay more for it...

My old man has one from his army days. The story behind the glass bottom, apparently, is that you have a chance to notice that the recruiting sergeant has slipped you the King's shilling.

that is the crap completely wrong myth. The press gangs didn't care. They could just claim you took it or, more often, they got you drunk and knocked you out as you left the pub.

It's a story that the more you look at it, the more and more problems you see which show how it makes no sense at all.

The best Glass bottom ones are the Gamblers Tankards.. they have two slices of glass with a few dice in the bottom. you get a drink and then use it to roll dice.. Not sure how well they roll but they do roll inside the glass area.

I'm in. With this handsome devil here! Just look at those locks! He's a Knight Errant of Bretonnia, enjoying some down time at the market with his brushes and pallette.
Tristan the Troubadour, Jules the Jester and Suliman the Saracen (The Painted Man) have joined my ranks, as well as this fine chap here who is off to market day, all courtesy of Citizen Sade. Top bloke, cheers!IMG_20251115_165536~2.jpg

That's amazing - I can't get over how full of expression her face is. And there's me trying to dot in eyes with a 0.03mm pen and a wobbly hand!

A bit of culture in the market place. Is he on his Grand Sneer? (Like the Grand Tours they took in the Regency, but just snobbishly sneering at how everything isn't as good as Bretonnia?)

He's just trying to make a name for himself in the big bad world. Fame and glory is all he's after... For now at least.
When he calls in the Inn later tonight for a pint of ale he'll be after Verena!
@MichaelStockin Beautiful model. Wonderfully painted!

Much has been said of the strumpets of yore
Of wenches and bawdy house queens by the score
But I sing of a baggage that we all adore
The landlord's daughter
