i'm still intending to make a submission. it won't be until after my poll concludes on 14th october though. it seems unlikely anyone else will vote at this point, but i'm sticking to my excessive ballot window so as not to be accused to electoral fraud.

i painted up my contribution yesterday. unfortunately the varnish frosted, so it's now in the dettol. once it's stripped i'll have another go.
meanwhile, i noticed epicsatsuma's entry has already made it to symphonicpoet.

more or less the same as the first attempt. the only real difference is that the shirt is slightly more lilac this time.
i used brush on varnish to avoid a repeat of the frosting; it's still drying in some places, but will hopefully be clear before too long.

A lot of activity here, so I wanted to double-check: Am I right that submissions are due in December? I have my Goblin Pirate Captain prepped and primed, and I intend to paint him next week, but I'd feel pretty stupid if I needed to have this in by October 31st and just missed the deadline.
