Well it is late in the day, but I wondered if you have space for one more I might have time to squeeze in a Friar Bellows model (it's sat on my desk now awaiting some primer), can't quite guarantee anything, life has been busy, but I might get it painted ... what is the current date you're aiming to finish up by?

^It's strictly friendly, so I'm not too strict, but I aim to have the group in hand by the new year. Last year we got terribly fouled up by a postal strike, and I was late with my own submission. The only real downside is it slows the drawing down. As long as folks are a bit patient and have good humor . . . we make it work. I'm hoping we can keep it from slipping quite so badly this year, good lord willing and the creek don't rise, as they say. ;) I'll put you down for one Kentucky Fried Cleric . . . wait, that's not it. Fryer Bellows. That sounds closer, at least. (Has to be something like that. This is Lustrian, after all. And frog tastes a bit like . . . well . . . more like duck, really.)

Sorry. Is late here. Coming off watching a very nice (association) football match.

By the new year... I can manage that ... famous last words ...

Expect one quirky miniature in the post at some point then, hopefully it'll raise a smile!

I’m also late to the party but would like to join in, if that’s ok.
Was thinking of painting this dwarf who does double duty as ship’s carpenter and treasure appraiser. Hope it fits the theme?

Perfect! Looking foward to this tears crew. After last year’s debacle with the post I made sure my guy has arrived early. Hopefully a few more will be joining him shortly

^You're fellow should have company shortly. I think someone might be stuck in customs. I have to go by tomorrow and bail them out to be sure.

^^Geroak II,

I'll put you down! A treasure appraiser sounds like a useful addition to any adventuring party that might need to estimate the value of salable goods suddenly acquired.

Like a few others it looks like I’m late to the party- are there any gaps that still need to be filled before I start looking through the lead pile for a suitable candidate?
That is if you’ll have me :)

^Of course we'll have you! I'll put you down as TBD for now, but I'm thinking any somewhat comic Robin Hood parody trope would fit, and a little duplication probably wouldn't hurt anything. So far as I can tell we still don't have a Maid Marian type character. (Mayhap the Black Adder had no Marian in his life. Laid Larrian maybe? Paid Penny? So many ways to go with this.)

Well as to the ladies of Black Adder's life ... There is always the Spanish Infanta:

Or of course Tally Applebottom, who he marries to avoid the Infanta and of course how could we forget Princess Leia of Hungary all in the Queen of Spain's beard episode.

In the Black Seal episode we're so loosely theming around you have the young maiden Friar Bellows looks after:

There is always the Queen or Princess Leia again in that episode, and of course at a pinch Baldrick and Percy also dress up as serving wenches at the end of the episode.

Great- thank you both for the inspiration.

Unfortunately not much in the way of young maidens (lots of overly equipped barbarian women though) but I did come across this Ral Partha figure that seems fitting enough.

I’m likely to replace her (staff?) will be sitting down to watch a the episodes referenced for a clearer idea of my plan in the next few weeks but it’s settled, I’m going with a young maiden-
