2022: Legacy Crew: Space A-Team Sign UP

Guys, what do you think about this Shadowrun mini from Ral Partha? Shaman is for size comparison of course. I don't understand pose at all. Doesn't hold anything in the right hand, just pumped fist ( looks like a knife at first but it's a vent ). Looking for options at this point. Thinking of straight paint mini with no conversion but that half Saturday Night Fever pose bothers me little bit.

haha Good one! Waving "Oi! Wait!! Oiii!!" then when they leave her in dust, simple "Bollocks" in the manner of Miller and Armstrong sketch.

I like the figure. That's some serious rock-star energy going on there. And with the shoulder pads, tight pants, boots, and hairdo I could definitely see him as your Space Boy George, say. Maybe he's calling a cab. Or maybe he's a psyker and the hand waving is all a part of calling down the power of voodoo, who do, you do, do what? Remind me of the babe.

Wait . . . wrong movie. Sorry. (He's supposed to be a part of an goblin pirate band next year, maybe.)

What kind of pychik spell to weave.
Snakes and snails. Puppy dog tails.
Thunder and lihgtening.
And baby said . . .

Yeah yea, wrong move. But man, I love it when a plan comes together!

hehe Did you just assume gender of miniature now!? haha Little contemporary joke hehe

Mini is representing dark skinned elven women. She's a runner and she disappears in one incident and they don't know is she's dead or alive. According to Shadowrun history of Aina ( Aina Dupree is her name ). Got the book ( novel ) where she's accompanied with Harlequin ( bloke comes with her in blister ). Even though the name, Harlequin, could be promising, the miniature itself isn't in my opinion. That's considering Shadowrun.

Was thinking of mini more as one of special guest star females since it's got chest and legs of a women.

^Whoops! To be fair, you haven't painted her yet, so certain features are less prominent than they will be once properly colored. And Boy George is at least a bit gender ambiguous. (I'd even say he was pretty pioneering in that regard. Assuming they still prefer that pronoun, that is.)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing your elf in paint. (I completely missed the ears too.) She's going to be FANTASTIC!

hehe Should be nice miniature and in case it's not so, will look for another one. Plenty minis to pick from Shadowrun range and similar SF ranges of all manufacturers.

What do you think guys? At the moment not a fan. Maybe to Foss it a little bit so it look more toward RT? Something wrong with the eyes. One eye is clear and easy to pop out, but the other ( her right one ) is hidden or something hehe Also, there is a lot of tightening to be done.

Was looking on the web for some inspiration or, better to say, to be true to the character of A-Team's Triple A Amy so I stumbled across action toy. So I painted in that manner.

^Oh, that's flippin' sweet! Well done! The light blue is spot on. Maybe we can ignore the light brown and make it a one or the other thing. I think she's going to be fantastic!

This is final. Did little bit of tightening. I'll look further for another mini pretty possible but I have something if I fail to find anything.

Thank you,

Was thinking of modeling one character in ZBrush and then print it in resin but dunno if that's far from Legacy spirit?

So I've been struggling a little on what to use as the basis for Space Face. A few folks have put me on to Reaper's Chronoscope range, and this miniature struck me as a possibility:

Thanks to Dirk Benedict, the characters of Face and Starbuck will always be connected in my mind, and while the Chronoscope Time Chaser doesn't look like Benedict, she does remind me of Starbuck, which is the second best thing. Thoughts?

You'll have some obvious parts to cut, especially the front part of hair so you could so you could model it and possibly little bit of jaw, to beef it up little bit. Pose is great. Miniature looks really nice.
