Ind , nippon & araby inspiration!!!

Anyone got any ind, Nippon, carthay, Araby to show for inspiration!?!?!!

Working on some sculpts and my partner informed me she now wants a tzeentch corrupted Nippon force and now I want a force to go against them and Ind and Araby have always interested me especially Ind.....

Thanks!
Two are from the "Warring Clans" line and the other two are from the "Bushido" miniature game. I have a lot more, mostly from other brands such as Fireforge or from the game Test of Honour. I love feudal japan and it is nice to paint up some miniatures that are more colorful than what I usually collect.

I actually had an Araby army with a Tzeentch-flavor back in the day, but all of those miniatures have found themselves either on the chopping block or converted into other projects. And alas, got no pictures of them.

Would love to see what kind of miniatures you make for your project once the ball is rolling, Sprue_Goblin_Games!

Oh awesome shame no pics..... Yeah my partner loves the idea of Nippon samurai but in tzeentchy coloured Armour.... Grabbed her a few old citadel oriental heroes for it recently and she wants me to sculpt her a kitsune chaos sorcerer

The army's primary wizard is the legendary Jabir Ibn Hayyam, seen here with his familiar/bodyguard Bubo, a clockwork brass falcon.

Bubo! Interesting choice of names. There's a character named Bubo in a book I quite like. (Enough to write a fan sequel.) But that Bubo is a rat, presumably in reference to the bubonic plague. A quick bit of searching turns it up as the name of a genus of large owls, including the great horned, snowy, and Eurasian eagle owl. Love your backstory. It hints at larger things. Brilliant stuff, and very well painted indeed.

I'd like to claim deeper insight into the name, but Bubo is entirely a reference to the clockwork owl in Ray Harryhausen's Clash of the Titans!

Jabir Ibn Hayyam however, was the name given to a 9th Century arabic chemist, alchemist and magician who wrote some of the first books on the subjects. Whether he was a single person or a pseudonym given to a group of writers is unknown, but it seemed an appropriate name.
