I hope everyone had a great Festive Holiday and you received plenty of old lead to keep yourself happy for awhile. So what was the pick of everyone's haul?

Mine was:

I got a Centurius (Gift to myself), a host of random Necromunda & Combat Zone Figures, £100 in GW gift vouchers, a box of metal Squats from my Wife (Still no idea who she bought these from).

Oh and a pair of socks...
 
2 blisters of Warlord Games highlanders from their English Civil War range. No prizes for guessing what oldhammer purpose these kilted fellas will be used for!

Also was given a blisterpack of Warhamchine "Kayazy Assassins"... while I don't play Warmachine and don't usually like minis from that game, these assassins are a couple of surprisingly decent figures that would make nice chaos cultists.
 
Of note I got some Crystal Head Vodka (comes in a glass skull, that's Warhammery) and my brother gave me Ajax Rockwhiz Space Wolf, my first FC mini.
 
My kids gave me tubes of W&N viridian & titanium white. They apparently thought my old tubes needed to go. :lol:
I also received a pot of MIG Carbon Steel & a new airbrush needle.

I gave my 10 year old son a box of the plastic spikey marines, which he promptly assembled & declared for Alpha Legion.

I got some British Arthurians from Gripping Beast + some shields for my cannibals. Oko and Oakley from Hasslefree and a Dreadball team. + some non gaming related items, so I am pretty satisfied with this years haul.

Good to see your nearest & dearest know you so well as to show their appreciation of your existence as to provide for your desires,wants & needs. My daughters gave me a copy of the third edition rules & army lists, where as I've just purchased a small horde of Persian infantry 275BC (too much of a bargain to let it go)! :o :shock: :o :shock: :o :shock:

Mrs. Zhu bought me Flights of Icarus from Paper Tiger, with a couple of lovely John Blanche pieces in and lots of other stunning fantasy art. Also one of the Fighting Fantasy books I didn't have Stealer of Souls (Russ Nicholson art) - just found the doorway to the dungeon... and Little Zhu got me cosy slippers :grin:
 
I got a set of Bull Centaur Renders and a Sicarian Battle Tank from Forge World as well as a bunch of books CDs and beer.

The best though was my Missus managed to find a 2003 limited edition Chaos Knight. The Christmas present one.

My Mother-in-Law got me the pre-order bundle deal for Fistful Of Kung-Fu, all the boxed sets, rules and LE American Trucker. I've never eagerly anticipated February before in my entire life! :grin:
 
While I didn't receive any actual figures or games for Xmas I did receive two wonderful hobby related items...1. an Ott light floor lamp that is FAR superior to my current painting lamp. 2. A kick ass storage case and trays for my painted figures...similar to the one that Spooktalker did a blog post about a few months ago.

I'll detail these treasures in a future blog post myself
