Wolf Time shenanigans.

Hi guys, long time no posting, thought I'd try and get back in the saddle ;)

Here's some of my progress work on the Space Wolves I'm making for "The Wolf Time" scenario out of The book of the Astronomican. I'm be doing around 35 of them, most with some sort of slight conversions, but quite a few have had drastic reposing work done too. Here's a few WIP shots:

There still rough, but there together. Now I just gotta pimp them a bit before paint.

Cheers :grin:

Glad you posted these here! I noticed some of this on your blog.

Navigator conversion looking great, especially.

And also, good luck in your quest for a suitable fat ork.

Thanks Orjetax,

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how their turning out. That Ork is becoming a real bugbear :( Even after all the advice I got last year about him I'm no closer to getting hold of a suitable mini. The search goes on.....

One more off the rank....

Obviously this guy still needs a lot of TLC in the gap filling department, but he's posed none the less :grin:

Hi guys,

Long time no post. I just figured out how to add images the quick way, without worrying about size restrictions.....I know, I'm not very bright :lol:

Here's the next part of my project, the Bullock squad;

What do you guys think?

Cheers :)

Oh, and feel free to facepalm me over my ineptitude with the imaging thing :grin:

Thanks Suber :grin:

The batrep you wrote of "The Wolf Time" (all those many moons ago) was & probably still the only online example of this scenario. I think I might have even stumbled across your blog because I was searching for it? I dunno, but suffice it to say that your batrep got me all excited to give it a go myself.

Glad your liking my output so far. Hopefully playing the campaign will be as rewarding.

Cheers mate :grin:

I'm back again :grin:

This time with the main characters for the scenario;

next to be completed will be the footsloggers :)

Wonderful stuff! I particularly like the gore-splatter - going have a go at that on some of my chaps next time I break the paints out!

May I ask where the 'beardy' head for Captain Storm came from?

Love your Bullock squad, they definitely look like they mean business!

I think? The head is from.....oh geez :? My old brain can't bloody remember :roll: sorry man. Let me concentrate real hard for a few hours and I'll get back to you as soon as I can recall where it's from.

fantastic. i love the reposing on the RTB01 marines.

Modding vehicles & minis is my favorite part of this hobby to tell you the truth. Painting...not so much :?

Thanks Mr Daddy :grin:

Great stuff mate, although some bigger pics would be nice ;)

Looks like a head from the old plastic Chaos marauders kit to me
