Where there is willpower there ...

... is probably a very small Lead Pile.

So what was your last ~ I really, probably, possibly, well kinda ~ don't need these miniatures, but your willpower collapsed and you added some more lead to the pile ...

This little lot arrived in the post this morning representing my total inability to keep my wallet in my pocket.

Still I'm quite pleased with them!

Let's see your proud recent piles of shame! ;)

A couple of chainsaw warriors in there. I know nothing about that game. I assume there was a game. Might have to go off and research that.

I was in a GW store for the first time in decades to pick up a miniature for Warhammer, a game I have never played. I got a free voucher from GW that expires at the end of the month so at least this one won't come with any buyers remorse.

Now... When it comes to the early video games of GW games.. it was.. interesting.. They kinda said they didn't WANT just a video game version of the games. Which is why 'Shadow of the Horned Rat' kinda falls flat with me, though I've been TRYING. IF they just made it turn based but they said they didn't want that.. Where as HeroQuest was a pretty great computer version of the board game, Space Crusade was... mostly the same but also not, and some others... have mixed results as to how close they are.

the squats with kalashnikovs from big mr. tong. though I have wanted their inspiration for a long time.
before that, probably most of the sci-fi stuff I got during the checkpoint miniatures january sale.

Well to be fair most of those are only half a doggo so you're totally justified in needing several to make up a fully boned doggo!

I managed to resist those, very tempting however.

That's rather a good model, would be just the part in Mordheim. I generally only get stuff directly from GW when I've a voucher to use up. Although the occasional re-issue of stuff for Old World had me throwing my money at Nottingham.
Warhammer English Civil War to the tune of far too much.
But those pikes look so good! I keep telling myself not to look too closely at the historical stuff just in case I like it too much and I say "just a unit or two of ...."

Yes, Chainsaw Warriors was a game ^_^
Interesting. A solo game where you play against the clock. There is a computer game version with mixed reviews.
I am a proud owner of the game, and have very fond memories of playing it during my early teens. It is quite fun, lighthearted and very exciting. :)
The miniatures - cool as they are - have no role in the actual gameplay.

I am guilty of buying the re-issued Snotlings as ammunition for a Shokk Attack Gun I'm unlikely to ever fire.

The Witch Hunter is a fine sculpt & cheaper than most of the characters. It's not clear from the website but it comes with two backpack options & perhaps enough flash to melt down for a third.

@Eric, going to shoot for the complete Chainsaw Warrior set now? The chaos agentis particularly interesting.
It is temping. I've got the game, but it's ages since I've had it out. I might keep a casual eye out for the others, but of course given my renowned willpower I'll probably be able to live with just the current minis ...
