The poster appears to have been banned from CD Online. I'm not a member there but there must be some people here who are regulars at CDO.

Thats a good crime story, a sculptor that makes more and more good minis, but only shipping them to well known people on the forum. Just read this thread: http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showt ... 163&page=1 , if you dont have enough time I'd just recommend true^vectors post on page 12: http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showt ... 63&page=12 .
Thats just a mean spirited scheme going on there, reading it feels like getting told campfire horror storys for hobbyists![]()
It was like a train wreck I couldn’t look away from.

Some people from the afirmentioned forum wanted revenge/compensation for all of this and tried to organize to recast all the stuff that people actually got, to give it to the people that didnt get packets. The problem is: they didnt do this to sell the miniatures or to make them avaliable and they were shut down by their admins. However they seem to have produced some of them, maybe organizing via pm, which explains the metal casts mentioned in the first post. These have to be recasts since the original creator "Zonk" only cast plastic ones. That explains also why the quality on the metal ones doesnt seem to be that good.

Some people get off on it. I used to know a guy who was a high school drop out that taught himself to program computers just to scam people with (in the 90s). I used to shake my head because he put to much work into it that it would have been less work to get a legitimate job with better pay!Sjoerdo":2u14bmbw said:Fuxxx":2u14bmbw said:But the greatest mystery for me is that the guy didnt sell the minis instead of scamming people, seemed to have talent...
That truly is a mystery, he has done it on multiple other for a also, with different sculpts... He can sculpt, he can cast, would probably have made more money in the long run if he'd chosen the fair way...
Anyways the minis are back out there, just noticed all the tabs are labelled: Karma is B!tch.
