Warhammer Quest

So nearly finished with the skaven. Just had to find a stand in from the bits box to complete the 12 - he can be the champ

Nice to see some of those Skaven painted up. I sold I think around 50 of them not too long ago on Instagram and seeing these painted up makes me wonder what they would look like as one big unit ? Have to ask but did you ever think of adding some rust effects to those weapons ?
 
Yeah, I did think about it but kept it simple for motivational reasons I have a tenancy to go to overboard if I start adding extras in - like, I did think about a white dag trim around the top half of the clothing, or some checks somewhere.
I guess I can always revisit them when they're done if I feel like it

All the spiders that I have. I'll need to source some more from somewhere, although it's likely to be eBay

These spiders already have their gloss varnish...

And the goblins! Really liked painting these to be fair!

Now just the remaining bats (5), the orc warriors (6) and the goblin archers (6) to go! I'll need to find some goblin archers - I'm sure I've got a load of them that need stripping somewhere so they'll probably be the last ones to see some paint as the others are all undercoated.

Ha! Ah yeah, I kinda forgot about them!
They're at my friend's house. He's painting the elf, another is painting the barbarian, and I'll probably paint the dwarf! The wizard too if he's not got a painter...

Funnily enough I just found three, I have got more somewhere.
Found a RoC era Beast of Nurgle I thought I'd lost as well. 😁 Guess I better get that painted.

Lemme know where to send the spiders and I'll get em posted over the weekend.

On the WHQ side of things these are looking great, I can't believe how quickly you've done them all and they look great. I particularly like the goblins and the bats. It's going to make the game so much fun having it all painted up. Are you intending to do the doorway / arches?

Thanks - the goblins came out really well, and are my favourite so far, but I really did not like doing the bats for some reason!
Yes, I plan to paint the doorways. I've not really started them yet, I've only roughly scraped the mould line off 5. I *think* that they'll either be an off white, or what's more likely, is they'll be different colour stones with a unifying wash over the top
