[Warfork Fantasy Battles] The Road To Power Campaign

Your puny WIP’s looking promising and prompted the thought that either liquid green stuff or diluted pva might be a quick way to cover the limbs & skulls with ‘skin’. Going with steel or plastic balls for the eyes?

Not completely happy with the result, but good enough so that I will continue with this approach.

The belly flap is too big, must be flatter, the butt cheeks could be less voluminous, the knees look wrong... but overall, when viewed from a distance, ok-ish. Also need eyelids of some sort.

Also need to work on the edges of the greenstuff with the plastic, or rather the prevention of those. Bit too sharp for my liking.

Beastman looks disturbingly grotesque which in this case is meant as praise. These will be pretty unique looking beastmen, but I'm wondering if basing the conversion on ghouls or zombies might have been easier to execute?

Yeah, I though of that too and can see why it would be a problem. :)
Ghouls tend to be more "casually" dressed but these zombies from Warmonger might perhaps have fit the bill of puny and hungry beastmen with some head swaps and hooves.

indeed, they would have worked. Couldn't you have chipped in couple days earlier...? ;)
But thank you anyways, you never know when you might need puny beastmen again :)

Hah, sorry, had I seen this thread earlier I would have. Not too helpful at this point I agree, unless you consider them as plan B should converting skeletons into beastmen not work out the way you wanted.
And if you are a trendsetter and puny beastmen become a thing, then this info is invaluable to someone.

Sculpting is mostly done, all the body parts are in place. I hope I achieved a suitably disturbed looking chaotic beastman feel. For the eyes I used 1mm steel balls, for the nipples 0.5mm steel balls. The rest is mostly miliput and sprue goo (except on the first model where I used green stuff, but I got better results with the miliput).

I still need to add quivers, bows, swords and shields to the minis. So I will probably need to sculpt some belts/straps to hang the kit on.
