Warband for Mordheim…

Thanks! Very easy tabletop standard painting (I don’t have the patience or motor skills to manage much else!).
Zenithal undercoat (black followed by a heavy bone white cover all but the deepest recesses) followed by a white drybrush, contrast paint, all over “Marine juice” wash, Pale Sand drybrush.
The eyes are a white/pale sand mix with a dot using a micron pen.

First couple of games this evening both against the evil ratmen!!

Bernhard Seligmann lead his men into battle and bravely fought off several Skaven before a blunderbuss fired from behind caused significant hearing loss, distracting his combat leading to a knife in the arm. He attempted a more sneaky approach in the second encounter, but the rats quickly encircled his warband and started taking his men down. Experienced Bergjaeger Patrik did manage to wipe out the Skaven sorcerer with a blast from his blunderbuss (fortunately not directly behind his boss this time)!

In the initial encounter Eduard Schwarze-Kreuzotter bravely clambered up a two storey building to gather wyrdstone only to see his son Todd cut down, distraught he too was knocked out of action. In the following skirmish Schwarze-Kreuzotter Jr. courageously battled a skaven (having being caught with his pants down behind a building), but this time he was the one to witness poor Eduard hacked apart leaving the already unsettled youth in a permanent nervous state…

They look very good in the action. The cobblestone bases really look the part. Are the current games going to be part of a longer campaign, or just a few shorter multi game sessions?

Another game played this morning, this time against a band of pot wearing madmen and their hired Ogre! Bernhard’s men set out across the square hunting for wyrdstones scattered in buildings. Josef the marksman held back taking potshots with his crossbow, Patrik the Bergjaeger fired off his blunderbuss down on enemies before foolishly jumping down to his doom attempting an attack. Young Todd Schwarze-Kreuzotter bravely struck down the enemy leader with a lucky bolt from his crossbow (before being squished by the Ogre). Xaver the peg legged marksmen took a battering ascending a building, but crawled back to his feet and saw off one of the crazed pot wearers knocking him several stories to the ground below. End of the encounter saw Todd and Gert out of action recovering from wounds, but everyone learnt from their experience, spent some well earned gold on new equipment and recruited a new sergeant in the form of Edmund Schwarze-Kreuzotter II who has cunning plans to lead the warband to victory.
