I was visiting my friend Erik yesterday in his new hometown and he showed me his local hobbystores.

The first two were not impressive and the third and last one was horrid. Dirty, cluttered with trash, holes in the walls and an uninterested smelly guy behind the counter, just chatting with some friends about online games. :? The goods were unorganized, everything mixed together BUT then it hit me hard. :shock: Lots and lots of Oldhammer Stuff. :o Sealed Boxes, Blister and hard-Blister full of lead from the 80´s and 90´s :shock: . I broke to sweat, grabbed the only shopping basket available and went bananas. After some bargaining at the counter (Big plus for me, the clerk wanted to get back to online gaming fast) I had two bags full of stuff for a great price and got an sealed marauder Chimera for free on top. :mrgreen:

But its an 250km (don´t know what´s it in miles) travel. One way.

I counted 17 blisters of amethyst wizards... for example :razz:
 
That is fantastic! What a great Haul! The black orcs in a blister box is crazy old! And, yes I know it's small, but I love the marauder Dragon.

Hard to beat old shops & it's amazing where things turn up.
 
That's a lot of nice old lead right there! Congrats! The anachronism of old marauder blisters with euro price tags on them is a nice touch. =)

Is that a regiment of black orcs between your legs, or were you just excited? :grin: :lol:

Now a word to the wise - I strongly suggest that you keep the location of this little treasure trove to yourself until you have enough pennies and enough time to do a proper investigation of the horde of treasure you've found; less you want to fine that someone who shall remain nameless - has stripped bear your horde of all that glitters & shiny!

that chimera is actually an incredibly awful model in a lot of ways. It's very rough and needs some horrific gap filling.

I still want a second one though :razz:
