Tom’s painted Oldhammer minis

My army's got minis from various ranges/companies already, the size difference between my conquest Normans and my Victrix ones is amusing.

Not found a chubby knight yet, I need a fat baron.

I’d say the unarmoured bowmen are the better sculpts in that picture.

You’ll also get size differences between packs too. The ones in the picture are from 2 different packs, I got them as a lot on eBay. I used different height bases to try and make them roughly the same height.

The color you've put on the kite shields more than makes up for whatever sculpting deficits are there. They look great! Casting differences can be frustrating. I have a bunch of WWII naval stuff, and one company I purchase from has some . . . quality control issues. A particular destroyer was more than an eighth inch shorter than all its siblings, which is a lot in a 1/2400 model that's an inch and a half long at best. I cut it in half and added a section to the hull as discreetly as possible. (I think to the fantail, though it might have been towards the bow. Can't quite recall.) Anyway, you've done a nice job dealing with it.
