To the Wise Scholars: Identify this Monstrosity!

Venerable Masters of the Imperial Academy,

I have unearthed a bizarre relic from a long-forgotten era. My small mind is completely baffled by its form.

It is made of metal and possesses the head of a shark and the body of a serpent.

It is missing what should be wings, fins or claws.

Please grant me your supreme wisdom. What is this glorious abomination?

I bought it on eBay as a "Warhammer bit", the seller cannot tell me what it is.

It is not yet in my possession, it is in transit to my address...

Certainly very odd looking! Not jumping out at me, but have plenty of gaps in my mini knowledge!
Has the famiiar S shape of WFB dragons, but the head doesn’t match, am guessing the lower jaw is missing? Had a look at some Tyrannid models too, but couldn’t spot anything obvious… Hopefully will ring bell with someone else!

alot of sellers claim 'warhammer' when selling ANY figure. Sometimes that kinda inflates the price but I have gotten the odd stuff which should have cost more (in my mind) if they knew it wasn't GW but a smaller, harder to find company's product.

More annoying when they try to sell models still in production by other manufacturers for way more than RRP…

Quick thought: Looks like Warmachine / warhmahordes' kind of sculpt- This is the hydra.(the image is a filler, similar but not the same):

EDITED: Can't find it, but the shark part on the head rings a bell about the older metal Hordes models, I think there was a faction painted in dark purples /greens with those shapes.
