HE LIVES!!!!

Really, really nice. Especially like the stained bandage on his left arm, he's a filthy bugger isn't he?The others are great too, of course - and the consistency of colour tone across the set is really impressive.

These Hobgobs are the awesome! Wonderfully characterful. They definitely inspire me to dust off the few hobgob-like models I have lying around at home and slap some paint on.

This thread is awesome!!
I love how some minis have a "goblinesque-Laberynth movie" look!
Can you list those you have painted? All or citadel or are there some ral partha too?

Also , paint that Dai Bakemono Ogre pleaseeee!!

Thanks for the compliments guys! Much appreciated!
Agaroth should make a fine Champ for my low-down dirty melee-ish hobgobs. Amazing preslotta mini that was a joy to paint.

The painted guys are a mix from the oldest Citadel Monster Starter Set, GW Personalities Set, & C36 morrison hobgobs. I have some N12 Chronicle Hobgobs waiting in the wings that I want to try next because they are so different. Pulling the different styles together should be a fun challenge.

I do make it up to Santa Cruz occasionally. I sometimes park it in Scot's Valley when I'm working in the Santa Clara/San Jose area & I'll likely be in Monterey mid-Feb.
Any good gaming stores in town? Usually college towns go hand-in-hand with game retailers. I make a point of stopping by the Game Kastle in Santa Clara.

So, back when Rock me Amadeus was both a mega-hit & completely unintelligible, I looked high and low for something that resembled these guys (For only 75p!):

Sadly, all I came up with was a stupid freebie Dorf made of psychostyrene. After mounting his head(s) on a spike, I continued my quest...
Fortunately, Al Gore invented the internet & I recently found these fine volunteers for a little more than 75p:

While they need some TLC, I'm pretty chuffed to have them joining my Warband. 8-)
For being the original Citadel Plastic (Plastik) Orc, they have a pretty impressive arsenal of weapons (spear, scimitar, cheese knife, & signal flag) & offer more variation than anything produced for years after.

Compared with the newer kids, it's apparent they skipped the steroids & don't rely on oversized weapons to strike terror into the hearts of elfs.
