Here are the latest additions. White Knight got these done just in time for me to have a clear painting desk! I am going to upgrade these from standard chaos dwarfs from RoC at 60 points. Making a unit of 8 for Khorne a base of 150 points. This gives them a move/charge range of 6/12" and an additional +1 save for being mounted. What do you think?

Excellent work! Interesting idea to use these as Chaos dwarfs...I think they work great with your pjs...I love the figures and hope to add some to my collection ASAP.

Those look amazing! I always felt this set could go either way with the right paint job, just didn't expect the first pictures of painted versions to prove it. Well done, mind of I steal your pics for the blog and Facebook page and such?

I'm also wondering how some of Clam's Ewal Dvergar heads would look on some of the other sets. Especially on the raven knights with the scythes and lances.
 
Really like the WK knights, they look great with your striking colour scheme. I'm about to paint some myself, they'll look plain and boring in comparison to yours. Great job.
 
Here are the latest additions tot he army. These Four A dwarfs are so awesome. I was really intimidated by the tower dwarf, however he has become my favorite.Also snagged the copplestone khorne champion I had been after off ebay. Enjoy.

Fantastic stuff! its great to see those 4A minis painted by others...they are great figures...I too was quite intimidated by Towerhead...but he turned out to be a lot of funb to paint.

Your warband is reaching WPIC proportions...time to upgrade to an army... 8-)

I agree with comments regarding battle master knights, they look great and blend in so well. May have to consider something similar myself?

What I am shooting for is a 2000 pt army. At the moment it stands a a rather robust 1500. It gives me a nice variety though for small warband games.

I really only have about 4 more dwarfs to get for them. Kind of waiting on Clam's new command figures to come out.

We will then have a unit of 16 dwarfs

8 knights, marauders, thugs depending on the points being played

8 marauder, thug foot again depending.

8 chaos hounds

1 lvl 15 troll...never leave home without you lvl 15 troll!

oh and almost forgot the 8 dwarf cavalry!!!!

I have really grown fond of this army. Heritically speaking at the moment I have know desire to work/paint anything else right now. Which is kind of nice for a change. So look for some new game reports in the coming months. Unfortunately real life/work has been extremely taxing of late.
 
Those crimson armours and the black blades are absolutely gorgeous. I really like them. You blend all those models together and manage to give them all a delicious old school vibe (some already have it but some others lack it at the start).

Dave thanks for dropping in. Your miniatures are great, and the one I named Weazil with the scorpion tail is one of my favorite dwarf sculpts ever.

So when are you going to get those ass cannons done so I can make a proper chaos battery! :mrgreen:
 
I love everything about this warband! The theme, the colors, the fluff... and the way you presented your warband as a comic strip!
I feel I might go with this kind of visual setup for my entry at the chaos warband challenge if we can agree on the copyright terms ;)
Just to bad I will not get to face this army, Canada-England is a long swim.

Finaly if I may go for a constructive criticism, it needs a Greater Demon! :twisted:
