The Month of Marsh is upon us!

We are entering the month traditionally dedicated to the painting of everybody's favourite one-eyed fen dwellers! Even if you don't have any unpainted HeroQuest fimir or classic Nick Bibby citadel fimir, there's never been a better time to paint fimir, what with with Oakbound's Myeri; Krakon Games' Fomorians; and Ketil Trout's Famhairean kickstarter just about to ship.

Of course if Fimir aren't part of your painting plans, any other boggy creatures you can imagine roaming the fenlands would be appropriate too!

waitaminute, I thought this was the month of March Madness where everybody is supposed to paint weird oddball-type minis with little to no use in mainstream gaming
No reason that can't happen too, but I'm bringing back the old ways.

See e.g. this decade old thread:

Working on this - would that count?
For me, Oldhammer is narrative led. If you share/ portray a narrative reason why it's swampy or marshy or boggy then absolutely :) The fact that it's a froggie should leave that an open goal but lots of marshy basing and storyline would seal the deal

I found the shambling mound over the weekend and painted him today while on a series of teams calls
Figure is great but the greatest part is that you painted him during Teams calls. Definitely the best excuse for being distracted in a meeting!
