Re: The Horny Mule Inn

That's by far the best version of this model I've ever seen, let alone its name
fantastic work 8-)

Re: The Horny Mule Inn

Very nicely done and a great name ,i would add weathering as it looks a little just out the box or a new build, some dampness ,moss ,dirt fading etc would give it extra character. :)

Re: The Horny Mule Inn

That's stunning, mate. Really nicely done.

What's your technique for painting the white render if you don't mind me asking? I love how clean it looks, but still has depth and age to it. White is one of the hardest colours for me to get right.

Airbrush ;)
First I did all stone stuff.
The airbrushed the to be white areas with light grey with a tint of blue, followed by more white added.
The wood structure was the last I did, diluted black, then gently drybrushed.

The Horny Mule Inn and the smithy

I give you the forgeworld smithy (frosted varnish is yet to be dealt with)
Interior is painted but too dark to see

Re: The Horny Mule Inn and the smithy

that looks great, especially the stonework.
the existence of forge world buildings had entirely passed me by.
