Paint me green in envy!

A very nice collection to be proud of!
You even have The Brigands of Bergerac, my personal favortites.

Have you ever considered how much it could be worth as a whole at this point? Any insurance considerations?

I already have an insurance for my whole collection, but I think I have to increase it.
Beside my 1200+ Bretonnian models I have about 7000 other models from all other factions in Warhammer / Age of Sigmar. My current insurance is about 20000€. I think at least double that amount would be appropriate.
When you look at the Age of Sigmar Miniature Collection Gallery link in my signature then you know what I am talking about.

Amazing collection! I hope to eventually do the same with all of GW's Nippon miniatures.

Are you going to get the forge world releases too? There weren't that many that I can think of off the top of my head: a chapel, a roadside shrine and I think a damsel on a dragon

Thanks for your kind replies.

I didn't know there were Bretonnian releases from Forgeworld. I searched a bit and the only Bretonnian release I found is this Chapel:

Only roadside shrine I found is this, but it doesn't look very Bretonnian to me:

I don't know about a Damsel on Dragon. Do you mean this model? https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-DE/Elsp ... ine-Dragon
But she's not Bretonnian but Imperial.

You're right, Elspeth Von Dracken seems to be from Nuln, so she is empire. The shrine has a signpost for Drakenhof on it, so again is Empire.
Looks like it's just the building you linked too (and also a larger scale collector's bust of a Bretonnian knight, if that sort of thing interests you)

I did it! I can't believe it! The collection is complete now as I got the last missing piece today (the mantlet from 3rd edition). Now I own everything GW ever released as Bretonnian!

Congratulations, that's an impressive collection :)

I just love the more realistic look of the pre 5th edition figures.
I need to find me that 89 king version.

Tullaris, where are you located? I've got a spare not I'm in the USA so international shipping probably makes it not worth it.

3rd Edition (1987-1991)

As far as I know no Bretonnian miniatures were released during 4th edition (1992-1996). Many 3rd edition models, but not all, are found in the 1991 Citadel Catalogue (also called Red Catalogue). There are also many 2nd edition models shown in this catalogue so it is intended not to show them together with 3rd edition models here.

I found many models that are not shown or named in any publication (catalogue, White Dwarf). So I can't be completely sure if there are more unlisted models. It would be very much appreciated to get information on that.

All 3rd edition models were made from metal, but all horses were made from plastic. Miniatures before 1989 were in smaller scale (25 mm).

Only the mantlet is still missing in my collection which seems to be extremely rare. I have only seen it in the Red Catalogue, one White Dwarf issue and here on Oldhammer.org.uk.
Hi! Can you also post the models of the earlier edition???

Sorry I slightly misunderstood the quoted post. Duke of Gisoreux hasn't been on the site for some time alas - last visit was June 2023 - so you might need to try a direct message once you've passed the thresholds to be able to send private messages. The default is that private messages trigger an email alert - so that might catch their attention.

Thanks, will do so!
